MINNEAPOLIS - Firefighters battled a large fire at a warehouse in northeast Minneapolis.

Authorities say a fire broke out Friday morning at Marshall Concrete Products. Large plumes of smoke billowed from the plant, which is adjacent to Siwek Lumberyard.

Mechanical products on a conveyer belt are believed to be the source of the fire. The fire spread into two structures.

Officials say a firefirghter suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The streets in the area were closed while crews battled the fire.

The fire is currently under investigation.
