ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Police in St. Cloud police are looking for a driver who hit a pedestrian with his or her vehicle early Monday and then fled the scene.
Squads were dispatched to the 10 block of 5th Avenue South just before 2:30 a.m. on reports of a man in down in the street. Officers found the victim in front of the Red Carpet bar suffering from what they call non-life threatening injuries.
The car that hit the 27-year-old victim, a 1994 Maroon Ford Taurus 4 door sedan, was abandoned in the middle of the roadway. The driver was no where to be found.
Paramedics brought the victim to the St. Cloud Hospital Emergency Room where he was treated for his injuries.
Investigators are asking that anyone who witnessed the hit-and-run or knows who was behind the wheel to call them at 320-251-1200.
