GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - When it comes to food consumption, only Thanksgiving scores higher than Super Bowl Sunday. But our next guest says you don't have to let all that grazing sideline all of your healthy habits.

Anika DeCoster from Life Time Weight loss joined us with some coaching so you can be Sunday's health enthusiast MVP!

Meatzza Bites. Makes 12-15 servings.

1 lb ground turkey
1 TB Penzey's Italian Sausage seasoning
1 small can of pizza sauce
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Pre heat oven to 425

Mix ground turkey and seasoning together. Take small portions of the ground turkey and press them into a muffin tin to cook. Cook turkey sausages for 10 minutes.

Place sausage rounds on a cookie sheet and flatten with a fork. Spoon the pizza sauce on top. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Broil for 3-4 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Pre-Game Plan
Before kickoff, get your 10,000 steps in. If you get your steps done for the day, you won't feel the need to miss those entertaining commercials.

Stand up and walk around. Use the chance to socialize or even get outside for a half-time activity of your own.
Veg out.

Don't snack for snack's sake.
Limit alcohol. If you're going to drink, keep it to one or two alcoholic beverages and drink water in between.
Ditch the carbs. Snacks such as pretzels, crackers and chips will throw your blood sugar and energy into that unhealthy rollercoaster cycle every time.

Beware the clean-up call. Watch out for those second-half hints like "There's still plenty of food left!" or "Who's going to help eat the rest of this food? No leftovers allowed!" Don't sabotage yourself because you're afraid to say no.
