Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Jeff Carter scored with 51.4 seconds left in overtime to lift the Los Angeles Kings over the Dallas Stars, 4-3, on Sunday.
Carter had two assists for the Kings, who have won four of five and sit five points behind the Ducks for first place in the Pacific Division. Dustin Brown had two goals and Mike Richards had a goal and an assist.
Jonathan Quick made 24 saves in the victory.
Alex Goligoski had a goal and an assist for the Stars, who are three points out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
