MINNEAPOLIS -- Bicyclists are out enjoying the last few weeks of summer, including a 10-year-old from Minneapolis hoping to raise money for his favorite hobby.

Isaiah Bischoff and his dad rode their bicycles 202.2 miles in four days in support of the Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition, a mostly volunteer-run nonprofit that advocates for a city where bicycling is encouraged and riders feel comfortable.

Isaiah says bicycling on busy, scary streets is not fun. He wants there to be safe places for people to ride.

The Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition is working on a project called 'Bikeways for Everyone,' which would build 30 miles of additional greenways and protected bikeways.

This is the fourth year Isaiah and his dad have taken a big bike trip. Last year, they asked for donations and raised $2,000 for the Bicycle Coalition. This year they are hoping to raise $5,000.

Isaiah is expected to finish his ride Sunday afternoon. If you would like to donate, click here.
