GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - In the state's largest school district, there's a new opportunity for high school students looking to get a jump-start on their college career.

The Anoka-Hennepin district now has an online high school that allows students to get college credit for a number of their courses.

The program is only open to student in 9th and 10th grades, this year.

Grades 11 and 12 will be added over the next two years.

At the Coon Rapids High School, there's also anew Biomedeial Program that features new learning spaces, labs and even centrifuge testing.
