GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - With New York Fashion Week wrapping up it's time to get ready for a week of runway events right here in the Twin Cities. Minneapolis-St. Paul Fashion Week (MSPFW) returns for the Spring/Summer 2013 season September 20 - 28, 2013 featuring top local designers.

The Shows, MNfashion's signature runway events, take place September 25 and 26 at Aria and include both new and returning names who will send full collections down the runway. Participating designers include Christopher Straub, Cocoon, Lisa Hackwith, Samantha Rei, Idle Child, Emily Trevor, Caroline Hayden and Lindsey Hopkins.

MNfashion's executive director Tara Murphy visited KARE 11 Saturday to talk about what to expect at The Shows and preview designers featuring shots from an editorial photo shoot that took place at the Walker Art Center.
