GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - The Minnesota Cheese Festival returns to the State Fair Grounds Saturday and Sunday with exciting new changes and new opportunities for attendees.
In addition, the Festival will help launch the Minnesota Cheesemakers Guild, a nonprofit collective that aims to build awareness and support for the state's growing group of artisan cheesemakers.
Festival attendees will have a wealth of opportunities to get up close and personal with cheesemakers, dairy farmers and other food experts. Workshops will include topics such as wine and beer pairing, mozzarella making, dairy farming, creating the perfect cheese plate and more.
The event will be hosted across two days at the Fair Grounds' International Bazaar, with two sessions per day (10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m.). Each session will have a limited guest count to provide attendees with a more intimate experience and reduce the potential for long lines.
Tickets ($15 per Session for adults, $10 per Session for children ages 10 and under, and free for children ages 2 and under) are only available in advance on Eventbrite - there will be no same-day ticket sales.
