ZIMMERMAN, Minn . -Six metro duck hunterssurvived a close callSunday when their boat capsized, tossing them into the waters of a frigidlake.

Sherburne Countydeputies and Zimmerman fire crews responded to Ann Lake around 6:30 p.m. on reports ofa capsized boat and people in the water.

Commander Steve Doran says Zimmerman firefighters launched a rescue boat and helped a number of the duck hunters to the scene. Paramedics examined them at the scene; some showed reported signs of hypothermia, but none had to betransported to the hospital.

On Monday the sheriff's department released the names of those involved in the incident. They are:

  • Thomas Quinn, 23, of Big Lake
  • Jonathan Quinn, 20, of Big Lake
  • Michael Kevelin 23, of Big Lake
  • Kyle Kevelin 25, of Big Lake
  • Kenneth Grund, 22 of Clearwater
  • Neil Thielke, 29 of Becker

Witnesses told KARE 11 that the boat was overloaded, but Commander Doran says the case is still under investigation.
