ASKOV, Minn. - While people in the Twin Cities get ready for the coldest night of the season, you don't have to go too far north to see snow.
On a drive up I-35 the snow line starts in Pine City where you can find a little more than a dusting, but still not enough to shovel.
A little further north and there's a little more to see.
According to the National Weather Service, Askov, Minnesota earns the title of the most snow so far this season with five inches over the weekend.
"I can't even begin to tell you how much fun it was to be walking through lots of slush yesterday," smiled Lena Schaumburg who said it snowed all day Sunday.
Lena's Scandinavian shop is home to the rutabaga malt and if there's snow outside, sales will start to slow inside.
"We always get more snow up here, I don't get it, it always happen," said Schaumburg.
