ROSEVILLE, Minn. - The Salvation Army will be kicking off the Twin Cities Salvation Army bell ringing season with "Rock the Kettle" on Saturday, November 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Volunteer bell ringers (aka Rock Stars) from local businesses, civic groups, churches and families are all taking shifts at kettles for the big day.
You can take part by donating to a kettle at your neighborhood Cub Foods or Mall of America. All donations given during Rock the Red Kettle will be matched, up to $50,000, by Hormel Foods. Online donationswill also be accepted.
Last year, Rock Stars helped collect more than $109,000 from generous donors like you. Listen along all day on KOOL 108 as The Salvation Army goes after a new kettle kickoff fundraising record.
