ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota Wild continues its goalie-go-round, announcing Friday thatnetminderJohan Gustafsson is being recalled from the club's Iowa affiliate.

The move is made necessary by an injury to goaltender Niklas Backstrom, who was run into by Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri during Wednesday night's game. Backstrom suffered a blow to the head, and while the team refers to his status as being out with an "upper body injury",he is most likely suffering from concussion-like symptoms.

Kadri was suspended by the NHL for three games for the hit he put on Backstrom: He will surrender in the neighborhood of $44,000 for the games he will miss.

Gustafsson is 3-1-0 with a 2.45 goals-against average (GAA) and one shutout in five games with Iowa this season. The 21-year-old native of Koping, Sweden, went 20-13-0 with a 1.70 GAA, a .929 SV% and four shutouts in 33 games for Lulea HF in Sweden's Elite League last season.
