GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - From team mascots to corporate CEOs, Minnesotans came out in droves to take part in the KARE 11 Food Fight on Tuesday.

From team mascots to corporate CEOs, Minnesotans were more than represented in the KARE 11 Food Fight on Tuesday.

Thanks to countless volunteers, Minnesota companies and KARE 11 viewers, a total of 861,104 pounds of food will be donated to Second Harvest Heartland.

Team Perk finished first overall raising 333,358 pounds of food. His drop-off was located at Cub Foods in the Sun Ray Shopping Center in St. Paul.

Team Julie finished second at 258,385 pounds of food. Her team was at the Byerly's in Roseville.

Team Randy and Team Julie update Food Fight totals

Team Bel, at the Kowalski's in Eden Prairie, gathered 145,366 pounds of food.

And Team Randy finished with 123,995 pounds of food.

Minnesotans flocked all day long at four locations and after each team saw such an outpouring of support - it was truly a situation in which everyone was a winner.
