MINNEAPOLIS - High school football fans are recalling 32 years of Metrodome memories this weekend.

"The Dome is the pinnacle of high school football in Minnesota," says John Millea with the Minnesota State High School League. "Great finishes and dynasties, good memories are a big part of this weekend."

With work already underway outside, it's clear the Metrodome is on its farewell tour. For the next two seasons, the Prep Bowl will be held at TCF Bank Stadium.

"Who knows we could have a blizzard," chuckles Millea. "Once the new Vikings stadium is built then we'll be back inside."

Ken Jacobson, a Hall of Fame football coach from Chatfield High School, says every year the message to the team was "get to the Dome."

"I remember being on the team bus on Interstate 94 and when we saw the Dome, the team went nuts," recalls Jacobson. "Lots of good memories here."
