MINNEAPOLIS - A computer upgrade will shut down the utility billing web and interactive phone services for Minneapolis residentsDecember 5throughDecember 9.
The internet and phone services, which cover billing for water, trash pick-up, recycling and sewer will be unavailable beginning at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 while the billing and customer information system is upgraded.
All services and normal operations will return by 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9.
During this time, customers will not be able to pay their bill or access their account information online or through the interactive phone system.
Those who have utility bills due on Thursday or Friday will be able to pay them online Monday when the system is back online to avoid any penalty to their account.
