Peoria, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Ian Chiles scored a game-high 20 points as the Jaguars of IUPUI posted a 72-66 win over the Bradley Braves in non- conference action at Renaissance Coliseum.
Also scoring in double figures for the Jaguars (2-7) as they snapped a four- game slide were Najee Khufu and Donovan Gibbs with 19 and 13 points, respectively.
The Braves (5-3) were paced by Omari Grier with his 17 points, although he shot just 3-of-13 from the floor and 2-of-11 behind the 3-point line. Tyshon Pickett and Walt Lemon contributed 13 points apiece, followed by Auston Barnes with 11 and eight boards off the bench.
Bradley led by three early on in the meeting, but the team shot a dismal 7- of-27 from the floor in the first half and 1-of-8 beyond the arc in the frame, en route to a 35-22 deficit at the break.
After converting 50 percent from the floor through the first 20 minutes of action, the Jags connected on 14-of-17 at the free-throw line in the second half in order to secure the six-point win.
The Braves dominated on the glass, 48-34, clearing 23 rebounds at the offensive end of the floor, but still the hosts came up short.
