WOODBURY, Minn. - Police are investigating the suspicious death of a teenage girl in Woodbury.

Police spokesperson Michelle Okada says police responded to a 911 call on the 3000 Block of Common Wealth Avenue around 9:10 a.m. Saturday, January 11 on reports of an unresponsive juvenile female. The girl was transported to Regions Hospital where she died a short time later.

Multiple sources have identified the girl as 17-year-old Tara Fitzgerald. Her family described her in an obituary as a talented artist and musician.
