20-year old Victoria Henderson of Luck, Wisconsin was a passenger on a sled driven by a 21-year-old Twin Cities man when the driver swerved to avoid an ice fishing house.

BALSAM LAKE, Wis. - A woman killed when she was thrown from the back of a snowmobile on Bone Lake in western Wisconsin Wednesday has been identified.

The Polk County Sheriff says 20-year old Victoria Henderson of Luck, Wisconsin was a passenger on a sled driven by a 21-year-old Twin Cities man when the driver swerved to avoid an ice fishing house. Henderson was thrown off the snowmobile and into the structure. Despite wearing a helmet, she suffered fatal head injuries.

CPR was started by people at the scene but they were unable to save Henderson.

The 21-year-old man at the controls was arrested at the scene for operating a snowmobile while intoxicated.
