MINNEAPOLIS - Homicide investigators say they arrested a juvenile Friday morning in connection with the fatal shooting of a man outside an Metro Transit bus.
Minneapolis Police announced their arrest on their Twitter account, but offered few details on where the suspect was taken into custody.
Officers were called to the shooting scene near 26th Ave. N. and Penn Ave. N. around 7 p.m. Thursday. Witnesses say the victim, described as a man in his 40s, got into a confrontation with the shooter on an Metro Transit bus. When the bus stopped the argument spilled outside and the older man was fatally shot.
Detectives will present their case to the Hennepin County Attorney's Office, who will then decide whether the juvenile will be charged as an adult.
