GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Crime Stoppers of Minnesota is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the man police are calling a suspect in the Arden Hills gas station killing.

Police have identified the man as 44-year-old Lyle Marvin Hoffman, AKA Ty Hoffman. Investigators have been following up on tips since they say Kelly Phillips was shot and killed by a man Monday morning at a gas station in Arden Hills. That man then sped off in a BMW, which investigators found later in Blaine.

On Tuesday afternoon, it was a tip that brought them to the Anoka County - Blaine Airport where they searched hangars, according to witnesses, but they did not find Hoffman.

Funeral arrangements for Phillips are set for Friday and Saturday in Mason City, Iowa where he grew up.

The visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Mason City, Iowa, according to Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapels,. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m on Saturday at the same location.
