ANOKA, Minn. - Four people were charged Tuesday in connection with a violent planned robbery that ended with two men being stabbed in a Fridley parking lot.
Kevin Lilroy Moore, age 25, of Spring Lake Park and Marcus Fultz, age 20, of Woodbury were charged with six felony counts including attempted murder, aiding and abetting attempted murder, first degree assault, aiding and abetting first degree assault, attempted aggravated robbery, aiding and abetting attempted aggravated robbery.
Leanne Ranae Todd of Minneapolis and Tiffani Marie Ivy of St. Paul, both 22, were charged with two counts of aiding and abetting first degree assault, and two counts of aiding and abetting aggravated robbery.
According to the criminal complaints Todd and Ivy conspired with Fultz and Moore to rob the two male victims. Investigators say Todd and Ivy spent the evening drinking at Two Stooges Bar with Anthony McCollum, 21, of Hilltop, Yani Singh, 21, of Columbia Heights and their roommate, then went back to the victims' apartment. Eventually the women asked for a ride home and then lured McCollum and Singh to a parking lot where Fultz and Moore were waiting. Prosecutors say Fultz and Moore stabbed the two men numerous times. Both required immediate emergency surgery and remain in very critical condition.
"This is a very serious crime and we are pursuing the investigation vigorously," said Anoka County Attorney Tony Palumbo.
Anoka County District Court Nancy Logering set bail for Moore at $1,000,000 without conditions, or $500,000 with conditions. His next court appearance is set for September 25. Bail for Fultz is $750,000 without conditions, or $375,000 with conditions. His next court appearance is set for September 18.
