ANOKA, Minn. - It may be cold outside, but the grand opening of an Anoka bakery was red hot.

The Hans' Bakery reopened its doors at 6 a.m. on Saturday and the community showed up in droves.

All of their baked goods, including the classic Bee Hive, were sold out by 11 a.m.

The new owner says she is overwhelmed by all the support.

"Again, it's amazing," said owner Kelly Olsen. "People sent flowers and brought cards and just … People are unbelievable."

The sign for the bakery is the original which was put in place back in 1973.

Olsen says she's happy to bring such a rich piece of Anoka history back to life.
