MINNEAPOLIS - A man known for helping inspire handicapped people to be more active made a stop this week in the Twin Cities.

Deaf and blind cyclist, Harald Vik, who is visiting from Norway, rode on a tandem bike with his friend. They left the Twin Cities on Tuesday to drive to South Dakota.

Despite his handicaps, Harald has biked across 50 countries and 35 states.

He also ran the New York Marathon 21 times, completing the race 20 times, and he has been honored by the Pope and King of Norway for his efforts to get handicapped people more active.
