MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - As the WNBA postseason gets underway Friday night, it's the Minnesota Lynx that are looking for their third straight trip to the WNBA Finals.
"It's an amazing time for the franchise," says Carley Knox, the team's Director of Business Operations. "Most franchises would pine for a time like this."
The Lynx secured the best record in the league this season, a feat they've done for three years. Quietly, the organization is building a team with a winning tradition and it's paying off.
"Every year we sell more and more tickets," says Knox. "Every year, we're breaking our record. Our revenues have never been higher."
The Minnesota Lynx take on Seattle Friday night at 8 p.m. in round one of the Western Conference semi-finals.
