PRIOR LAKE, Minn. – Fire has completely destroyed the clubhouse building at a popular hunting club in Prior Lake Tuesday morning.

Prior Lake Fire Chief Doug Hartman tells KARE 11 the building that houses the bar, restaurant and clubhouse of the Minnesota Horse & Hunt Club is a total loss following a massive fire that was called in about 6:15 a.m.

When firefighters arrived on scene the building was fully involved and they had to battle the blaze from the outside. Approximately 50-75 firefighters from area fire departments assisted.

Hartman says there are no injuries to report including to all the animals on presmise.

The cause is unknown this time but the state fire marshal in on site to investigate.

The clubhouse housed a bar/restaurant, a dining area, and an apparel and guns/ammunition sales area.
