GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Former Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe will meet with independent investigators hired by the Vikings to investigate claims he made that an assistant coach used homophobic remarks.
Kluwe says that the meeting will take place on Friday or Saturday in Minnesota. He said previously that he plans to fully cooperate with investigators.
The investigation was launched after Kluwe alleged that special teams coordinator Mike Priefer made homophobic remarks in front of players.
The allegations were made in an article written by Kluwe on the website, Deadspin.
Priefer strongly denies the allegations.
