SHAKOPEE, Minn. - Search crews recovered a body from the Minnesota River early Friday afternoon, a body that may belong to a missing man.
The Scott County Sheriff released a statement shortly after 11:30 a.m. saying that the person pulled from the river is believed to be Eric Michael Lindquist. The 37-year old Lindquist was last seen Tuesday night when family members believe he left to go fishing on the River.
On Thursday police, family members and friends searched a park where Lindquist typically accessed the water.. but say they found nothing.
It now appears the search has come to an end. KARE 11 is following developments in this story and will have details as they become available.
