EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - A quick-thinking bowling alley employee saved a toddler from a dangerous situation.

Wagner's Lanes employee Andy Gardner was leaving after a shift last weekend when he heard a commotion. Gardner turned and saw a little boy who had wandered down a lane and triggered a machine that sweeps the pins away.

WEAU Television reports that Gardner scrambled down the lane and turned off the machine, saving the child from harm.

The boy wasn't hurt. He was brought back to his parents, who thanked Gardner and apologized for their lack of supervision.
