MANKATO -- The Minnesota State University Mankato football team announced Wednesday that they refuse to practice with Coach Todd Hoffner.
The team gathered on the field, and player Sam Thompson read a statement saying the team won't practice with Hoffner because they prefer Coach Keen.
"Throughout this process, our voice has been silenced. It's time our voice is heard. We want information, we want answers, because this is our team," he said.

Athletics Director Kevin Buisman met with the players Wednesday afternoon where they shared their concerns, according to a statement released by the Athletics Department. A meeting with the athletes, Hoffner, Keen and other members of the coaching staff is scheduled for Thursday.
Wednesday was Hoffner's first day back on the job after being cleared of child pornography charges.
