EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - A reunion more than six months in the making came to fruition on Tuesday.

An Eden Prairie man got to meet the first responders who saved his life last October when a driver hit him head on Highway 212.

Ben Tupman is recovering from a traumatic brain injury and many broken bones, but he's well on the road to a full recovery.

And on Tuesday he thanked the men and women who stayed by his side that day.

"Its been so great to meet them and hear the story over and over again and to finally meet them and thank them face to face and give them high fives and hugs it's all good," Tupman said.

Ben said that thanks to his different therapies he's re-learning how to run and dance again. He says he will test out his dancing skills at a wedding this weekend.
