MINNEAPOLIS - Twin Cities runners in the Red, White & Boom TC Half Marathon and Relay had beautiful weather Friday morning for the 5th annual race.

More than 2300 runners finished under sunny skies and mild temperatures.

Zane Grabau of Waterville and Melissa Gracek of White Bear Lake won the men's and women's divisions of the race. Grabau finished the 13.1 mile course in 1 hour, 12 minutes and 53 seconds. Gracek finished at 1 hour 22 minutes and 17 seconds.

The runners were treated to the "first picnic of the day" with hot dogs, ice cream and yard games.
