ADAMS COUNTY - It has its own Facebook page and its own email address, but can't use either to post or communicate.

"It" is a big, ugly, hard-used blue couch: A piece of unwanted furniture abandoned by the side of the road in picturesque Adams County, Colorado.

Roger Fink drives by the couch all the time, and is quite annoyed someone would just dump the now-snow-covered furniture without a second thought. The big, blue couch obviously belonged to someone at sometime, so that somebody knows who dumped it.

Fink just wants the "Big Blue Couch" returned to its owner, and send an unmistakable message in the process.

"It's a very small amount of people out there that feel they are entitled to drop their trash on the side of the road and for others to take care of it," Fink said.

He has launched a Facebook page dedicated to the big, blue couch in hopes that someone will reveal the identity of its former owner. A friend of Finks even wrote a poem about the broken-down piece of furniture, filled with quirky verse and the occasional expletive.
