White House extends health care deadline — for some

President Obama is extending the health care exchange deadline for those who start the process before March 31, Health and Human Services officials say. So far, at least 5.2 million people have signed up for private plans through the exchanges, according to the government's figures as of March 1.

Officials raise Washington mudslide death toll
