LINCOLN, Neb. - Rachel Theriot scored a career-high 33 points and had nine assists to lead No. 18 Nebraska to an 88-85 overtime win over Minnesota on Thursday night.

Nebraska (13-3, 3-1 Big Ten Conference) trailed much of the game but took the lead late in the second half on an 18-6 run capped by an Emily Cady 3-pointer that made it 76-73 with 1:46 to go. With nine seconds remaining in regulation, Minnesota (12-6, 1-3) sent the game into overtime with a 3-pointer by Rachel Banham that tied the score at 78.

Minnesota struck first in OT and would recapture the lead one more time before Nebraska took control on back-to-back layups, and Theriot padded the lead with a pair of free throws with 15 seconds left.

Cady contributed 23 points and 13 rebounds, while Jordan Hooper had 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Banham led Minnesota with 33 points.
