ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. – For 7 straight periods, nobody could get the puck past St. Louis Park goalie Connor Klaers.

The sophomore led the Orioles to three straight wins while allowing just one goal during that span. Klaers gave up the goal in the second period of the Orioles 3-1 win over Henry Sibley two weekends ago.

Then, the St. Louis Park goalie had 39 saves in a 2-0 shutout win over Delano last Tuesday. Klaers followed that up with a 45 save performance in a 1-0 win over Orono last Thursday.

So far this season, Klaers has a 3-2 record along with two shutouts and a 1.80 goals against average. Klaers has recorded 176 saves, ranking 8th in the state with a .951 save percentage.
