ORLANDO, Fla. - Minnesota Timberwolves forward Dante Cunningham is back in jail after he was arrested Sunday on preliminary charges of making terroristic threats, according to Hennepin County Jail records.
Sunday's arrest comes three days after he was arrested and later charged with felony domestic assault.
The Minnesota Timberwolves released the following statement Sunday:
"The situation with Dante Cunningham is very fluid and we continue to monitor all available information. We reiterate that the Minnesota Timberwolves do not condone the behavior described in the accusations. We continue to wait for the legal process to run its course and will have further comment when appropriate."
Cunningham had been released from jail on Friday after his initial arrest, and took a flight on Saturday morning to Orlando, Florida where the Timberwolves faced the Magic.
He was scheduled to appear in court on Monday afternoon to face charges from last Thursday's arrest. He is currently being held without bail.
