MINNEAPOLIS – The city of Minneapolis will make its final push this week to lure the NFL into bringing the Super Bowl back to Minnesota.
Minneapolis is one of three finalists to host the big game in 2018. Indianapolis and New Orleans are also finalists.
NFL execs toured the Twin Cities in January to see what the area has to offer.
The final bid is due Tuesday.
NFL owners will make their decision in May.
The most recent discussion has been over NFL required tax exemptions that total about $10 million. Lawmakers would need to approve the tax breaks, but there has been a push to block any such legislation.
