DALLAS - The Minnesota Wild will have some new faces when they take on Dallas in search of their sixth straight win on Saturday night.

The biggest name to debut will be Matt Moulson, who the team acquired from Buffalo right before this week's trade deadline.

"It's a guy that we were excited to grab, that's for sure," said coach Mike Yeo.

Moulson is a solid power winger who has had three 30-goal seasons.

"Any time someone trades for you, they obviously want you as part of the team," Moulson said. "And that's a good thing."

While his resume is solid, the 30-year-old knows getting on the ice and making plays is what matters most.

"You gotta come in and contribute and that's something that I'm prepared to do, continue working and getting better and helping the team," Moulson said.

So far this year, Moulson has 17 goals between his time with the New York Islanders and the Sabres.

But, Yeo is ready to see what he can add to the Wild's offense.

"He's always a guy you just notice every game, finds a way to get chances, finds a way to be a factor in and around the net," Yeo said.

Yeo knows that Moulson can put the puck in the net, but he said that his game is about much more than that.

"He's a hard working guy. I think he fits the identity of (our team). I think he's going to compliment the players he'll play with here."

In addition to Moulson, the Wild will be joined by Cody McCormick and backup goalie Ilya Bryzgalov when they face off against the stars at 7:30 p.m. Saturday's game also features the retirement of former Minnesota North Star Mike Modano.
