MINNEAPOLIS - The 2014 WNBA MVP winner, Maya Moore, got 26 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and three steals as the Lynx won the series opener 88-84 over the San Antonio Stars in Game 1 of the best-of-three Western Conference semifinals at Target Center Thursday night.

Lindsay Whalen also added 11 assists to become the WNBA's all-time leader in playoff assists.

Seimone Augustus contributed 16 points, including two big shots in the final minutes.
