GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn.-- With Halloween just a couple of weeks away, it's time to plan a Boo Bash that will leave your guests shaking with delight. Event planner Amy Zaroff dropped by the show this morning with creative ways to turn an ordinary Halloween party into a spooktacular one.
Here are a few of her tips:
1. Invitations let the guest know if the party will be kid friendly, scary, or adult rated. Use your images and words wisely.
2. Decorate with purpose. The more you can use the items that are on display for the party itself, the smarter and more budget friendly the party will be.
3. Allow guests to engage with activities such as cupcake decorating. Kids and adults alike will enjoy tasting their work.
4. Repurpose your leftover Halloween candy by baking scrumptious treats that can be frozen and used throughout the rest of the season when friends and family stop by.
