ST. PAUL, Minn.-- Country music fans got quite the treat over the weekend. Jason Aldean's "My Kind Of Party" tour sold out the Xcel Energy Center on Friday.
Country music star Luke Bryan and last year's "American Idol" runner-up Lauren Alaina opened up the show. KARE 11 reporter Bryan Piatt was granted rare backstage access to chat with both of them.
Traveling the country with her mom by her side, 17-year-old Lauren Alaina released her debut album "Wildflower" in October. Alaina says she's trying to get her name out there to people who might not watch "American Idol."
Luke Bryan was in the Twin Cities with Rascal Flatts last winter. His latest hit, "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)", debuted as the top country digital single with over 105,000 downloads.
Jason Aldean is headed back to Minnesota in August for a headlining performance at WE FEST in Detroit Lakes.
