GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn.- There are three major construction projects taking place in the west, north, and east metro this weekend that could make getting from point A to point B a bit arduous.
Beginning in the west metro, Highway 100 southbound will close Friday, September 9th starting at 10p.m. Work will wrap up Saturday night at 10 p.m.
Another challenging closure will be a closure of I-694 eastbound between Brooklyn Center and I-35W. This closure begins Friday at 10p.m. and will reopen Monday at 5a.m.
The biggest closure of the weekend is I-35E in both directions between I-94 and Mendota Heights. This closure also begins at 10p.m. Friday, with the freeway reopening Monday morning at 5 a.m.
