MINNEAPOLIS - A bit of a rare chill in the air on Tuesday.  A cold front will sweep through in the overnight hours tonight.  Canadian high pressure will push down throughout the day on Tuesday, and will clear out the skies from north to south.  Temperatures will end up around 20 degree cooler than Monday when we hit 45 degrees.  The average high for the 7th of February is 27 degrees for a high and 10 degrees for a low.

The winds will be out of the north at 7-14 mph and that will make it feel even a little cooler.
Quiet conditions through the rest of the midweek with temperatures slowly warming back to 30 degrees on Wednesday.

Another cold front will slide through on Thursday and that will chill us down even further for the beginning of the weekend.  Single digits will greet us on Friday morning which hasn't happened in over three weeks.

Temperatures rebound quickly on Sunday back into the mid-30s and still no big storms to forecast.
We currently sit at 20" behind average to date.
