MINNEAPOLIS - The Fourth of July is expected to be a beautiful and dry day Friday. High temperatures in eastern/central Minnesota will be in the low 80s and we may see a few clouds throughout the day but we might not dodge more rain late Friday night.
The sunset will be at 9:03 p.m. in the Twin Cities with complete darkness settling in by around 9:45 p.m. Weather should be fine and temps will be in the middle 70s for fireworks Friday night.
Showers and thunderstorms will start to pop up far west that could drift east late Friday night and into the early morning hours Saturday. Thunderstorms are not expected to make their way into the Twin Cities until well after midnight Friday.
Have a safe Fourth of July!
