A wet and chilly spring has given way to record high temperatures for mid-May in southern Minnesota.

Our first 90 of the season is probably this afternoon. The normal date of the first 90 is June 4th, so this is early, and even earlier than last year (a year where we hit 90+ 31 times). Expect winds to pick up from the south 10-20 mph as well.
