Metallica to play Target Center

Metal monsters Metallica will make a stop in Minneapolis this fall as they re-launch the WorldWired 2018/199 tour.

MINNEAPOLIS - Metallica will embark on a U.S. leg of their WorldWired stadium tour this fall, which includes a stop at Target Center.

The metal monsters from San Francisco will play Minneapolis Tuesday, September 4. Tickets are priced from $75 to $145, and go on sale to the general public Friday, March 2 at 10 a.m. You can get them online at, at the Target Center Box Office or by phone at 1-888-9-AXS-TIX. Pre-sale for Metallica Fan Club members and Citi Card holders starts Tuesday, Feb. 27, with Spotify holding a pre-sale beginning Wednesday, Feb. 28.

Every ticket purchased through official outlets will receive a physical or digital copy of 'Hardwired... To Self Destruct', Metallica's latest album.

The band is offering a new wrinkle this time out with its 'Wherever I May Roam' ticket, that will provide floor access to any show on the 2018/19 tour. Only 250 of them will be available at $598 a pop.
