1. Minnesota Children's Museum

Check out the interactive exhibits at the Minnesota Children's Museum. It's closed on Mondays but open every other day starting at 9 a.m. Tickets are $12.95 each, but children under one are free!

2. Como Park Zoo and Conservatory

Not only is the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory a great place to spend a winter day, it's also free! The winter hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

3. Riverview Movie Theater

A night at the movies can be expensive for a family these days, but not at Riverview Movie Theater. Movie tickets are only $2-$3!

4. Family-friendly breweries
