99-year-old Vikings fan gets playoff tickets

That's one heck of a way to celebrate the big 1-0-0.

MINNEAPOLIS - “You've gotta be kidding.”

A Minnesota Vikings fan got her hands on some of the hottest tickets in town -- with a lovely thank you note from the team itself.

Millie Wall is celebrating her 100th birthday this July and thanks to her favorite team in town, she'll be doing it in the stands of the Vikes' playoff game against the New Orleans Saints.

"Oh I was so excited," Millie said, during an interview with KARE 11 at her home on Monday night. "I got a lot of confidence in them. I just feel they're going to go all the way."

The team tweeted a video of Millie finding out the good news on Monday, which included a very adorable reaction from the birthday girl herself: "You've gotta be kidding."

The video has since gone viral, shared by many local and national media outlets. Millie says all the attention is exciting and unbelievable.

"I'm shocked about everything. I walk around like a zombie," she said with a laugh. "This is the one to win, and I'm going to be there to see that they do it too."

From Millie herself, here's what the full letter from the Vikings stated:

“We would like to invite you, one of the biggest fans, to attend our playoff game on Sunday, Jan. 14. We know you will bring us luck as we enter into this playoff run and hope to bring it home. Thank you for the many years of supporting and cheering on our team, and making us part of your life.”

Millie says the Vikings are sending her and her granddaughter to the game in style, picking them up in a limo. They also sent her lots of merchandise, including some earplugs. She's now practicing her 'Skol' chant to make sure she does her part to "Bring It Home'.

"And I know I'm not going to talk the next day," she said.
