GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn--Inevitably we seem to always gravitate to the classics on Super Bowl Sunday – chips and dip, chili, Buffalo wings, etc. To up your game for this coming Sunday, Jon Gamlen, the new executive chef for 6Smith offers some pro tips and simple suggestions from the restaurant’s own special Super Bowl Take Out menu. These are easy ways to add some swagger to your game day spread, and impress your friends and family with very little extra effort.

Recipe: 6Smith Lobster Guacamole

• 5 Avocados

• 2 lime for juice

• 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro

• 4 seeded jalapeños diced

• 2 tbsp Kosher salt

• 8 oz cooked lobster meat (fresh or store bought)


Remove the skin and core from the avocados and smash with fork or hands. Add the next four ingredients and combine. Either fold in the lobster, just before serving or arrange it on top. Serve with tortilla chips or assorted fresh vegetables.
