Corey Spencer is the Assistant News Director at KARE-TV in Minneapolis-St. Paul.
Corey is a native of ‘Starved Rock Country,’ west of Chicago. He graduated from Bradley University with a degree in Television Arts. Corey produces newscasts at television stations in Peoria, IL., Louisville, KY. and St. Louis, MO., before moving to the Twin Cities as an Executive Producer for KARE. During his time as Executive Producer, KARE 11 Sunrise saw large growth in ratings, and the newscast was nominated for an Emmy.
Corey is an avid sports fan, enjoys spending time with his girlfriend Kaylee and their cat Gracie, and is working to visit every brewery in Minnesota!
